Tim Elsea is a highly energetic and determined person by nature. He loves extreme sports such as skydiving, intense mountain biking, and snowboarding. As a student at Clemson University, Tim Elsea was a part of the skydiving team and even competed in the 1979 Collegiate Skydiving National Championships. Tim has sustained a long career in the public sector and has held several leadership roles as the assistant director and the director of numerous public works departments. He jumps at the opportunity to lend a hand to others and aspires to become a volunteer for the organization Engineers Without Borders to better the life of individuals abroad.
Tim lived in several states growing up including South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama.
Tim loves to spend time watching baseball and football. His favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves and the Clemson Tigers. Having managed almost $200 million dollars in yearly budgets and over 500 employees, Tim Elsea has demonstrated his ability to allocate resources and be an effective leader at several points during his career.

Tim Elsea’s Extreme Sports: Then and Now

There’s been no shortage of excitement in the life of Tim Elsea. In his early days he participated in the Clemson University skydiving team. The team went on to participate in the 1979 Collegiate National Skydiving Championships. After college, Tim Elsea joined the United States Army and learned the value of selfless service and sacrifice as he pushed himself to his physical limits. As a leader in the Oregon Public Works system, Tim met each new challenge with the same tenacity that guided him through his military service and early career. His energy doesn’t stop at work, however. Tim is still an avid mountain biker in his spare time, and hopes to participate in an ultra-endurance bike race one day.
